We have live music every Saturday and will be hosting some fabulous events throughout the year. Keep an eye on our socials for all the upcoming events.
Our outdoor kitchen and bar are now open! We aim to fire the wood fired ovens up every Thursday & Friday evening & from 12 Noon every Saturday. Our food is cooked to order, tables book up stupidly early, we can get all kinds of busy, there can be a bit of a wait but it’s so worth it. so take your time, kick back and enjoy life.

We’re not available by phone on Mondays or Tuesdays. Please book online using the link below or via Google.
The booking system does not accept same-day bookings or tables over 8. For these, please call us from Wednesday onwards on 0151 424 4077.
Groups of 10 or more require a £5pp non-refundable deposit, deducted from your bill. Deposits can be paid over the phone or in person. A pre-order two days in advance is appreciated.
Walk-ins are always welcome where possible, including in our heated garden room, which is also dog-friendly for well-behaved dogs.
Our dishes are freshly prepared whilst you wait, from butcher to grill, our cuts of lamb and steak have all been butchered on site.
We’ve got bangers to shout about. Did you know our sausage (and when we have time our bacon too) is all handmade with the help of Master Butcher Peter from Pork Crackling of Cheshire.
We are very proud to offer you some of the best quality produce around. We have a fantastic brigade of qualified Chefs who get creative producing some of the best homemade food in Widnes – Chef Ben, Chef Louis, Chef Antony, Chef Ste, Chef Will & Chef Jack.

The Crown just loves putting on fabulous spread, our buffet menus are all about serving up gorgeous food to be shared amongst friends and loved ones.

Formal & Informal Events – We can cater for a min of twenty to a max of forty guests (larger parties will be considered) Please discuss personally with a member of the team.
PLEASE NOTE – Our kitchen is small and our food is cooked to order occasionally during extremely busy periods our chefs might shut the kitchen for an hour mid day to prep for evening service.
